Meet Amber

I began a journey of self-realization and self-healing when I was 19 years old. I took a self-development course that completely transformed my world in just a few days. I found myself in complete curiosity of “who I am”. I wanted to understand why I was the way I was and dive into the deepest parts of myself.

This grew my spirituality exponentially, giving me a deeper, more conscious connection to the unknown and the mystical nature of life. Beginning with meditation (which allowed me to experience Spirit and energy), I then sought the guidance of healers who held and supported me in the journey of seeing the parts of myself that I had previously chosen not to see and to heal them.

I met my spiritual teacher, an Algonquin Medicine man named Pete Bernard, in 2013. Since then, I’ve worked closely with him in my own healing, as well as, being trained in Shamanism under him.

This work has transformed my world, and has reminded me of the endless possibilities time space holds for us.

“A major theme in my life was self-worth; feeling unworthy and not good enough, with a very distorted self-image.”

My healing journey has allowed me to get comfortable with sharing the raw, vulnerable parts of myself, that previously I may have denied or pushed down.

I’ve healed physical issues like cystic acne and chronic IBS for 4.5 years (both of which were unable to heal through diet and western/natural medicine). I went to chiropractors, massage therapists and acupuncturists, who were unable to relieve my chronic neck pain (lasting over a year) and bursitis in my shoulder until I did the work to cure the, non-physical, root cause.

I’ve also healed emotionally, working through core wounds of betrayal, rejection, abandonment and self-worth. A major theme in my life was self-worth; feeling unworthy and not good enough, with a very distorted self-image. Moving through this changed my life, and it will never look the same. Healing my thought patterns, and my ability to accept things the way they are.

This work was challenging and demanding. I had to becoming aware of the programming in my consciousness so that I could heal and change it. This work has also been the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done.

Why? Because now I can be who I am meant to be, and leave behind those limitations that held me back from my potential.

My healing journey has not been linear, no healing journey will be, and I am grateful for all of it. The teachings, the blessings, the people, the hardships, the pain and the suffering. I have committed my life to this work and feel beyond blessed to be doing this.

Because now I can be who I am meant to be, and leave behind those limitations that held me back from my potential.

What is
Shamanic Healing?

We heal on all layers and levels: mental, emotional, physical, karmic and spiritual. It just requires you to show up.

Shamanism is Earth based healing, where we see the interconnectedness of all things and we see ourselves in all things. We work with the Spirit world and Consciousness to heal any issues you may be experiencing, whether you perceive that to be mental, emotional or physical. We work to heal the non-physical root cause of the issue. This can be through Energy Medicine or Journeying into your consciousness. Healing implies change. It is a way of life and not separate from day to day life. It is embodying the word and asks ‘what are you going to do when life happens, when someone hurts you, when you feel powerless, when trauma occurs, when you want to run away, when you can’t control circumstances? What are you going to do?” It empowers you to take full responsibility for your life and your outcomes, so that when “life happens” you can still live into your healed outcomes, and your divine potential.

Self-healing takes your experiences and transforms them into teachings allowing you to become who you are meant to be. Changing thought patterns, healing pain, eliminating limiting beliefs, expanding awareness, the ability to understand and ultimately becoming what you dream of, and doing what you came here to do. It is a series of choices; healing is always a choice. You must choose it, and have an authentic desire. It requires action, getting uncomfortable and learning a new way of being. Unlearning your old programming so that you can become what you want to be. Rendering up what is no longer serving you and giving it to a higher power. We heal on all layers and levels: mental, emotional, physical, karmic and spiritual. It just requires you to show up.

“Self-healing takes your experiences and transforms them into teachings allowing you to become who you are meant to be.”

Spiritual healing is not limited, we heal all aspects: emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, energetic and karmic. Through energy medicine and journeying we heal the energetic system storing cellular memory of trauma and old programming, as well as healing the sub-conscious blueprints that are creating our reality and patterns. Using Ceremony we tap into Ancient wisdom and begin to understand why we are the way we are. Recognizing the impact that people, places and events have had on us and taking the responsibility to change that impact. Healing teaches you that you are not what has happened to you, that everything has a ripple effect that influences the collective and that the world needs you.

My work consists of one-on-one sessions healing specific issues of the individual’s choice, discussing the issue, understanding the experience of it and then moving into Ceremony using the Medicine Rites I have been given to facilitate. This can be anything, some examples are: energy healing, healing affinities, inner self-image, getting back soul parts, power retrieval, past lives, healing wounded agreements, self-sabotage, meeting your Spirit Guide, healing DNA, Animal totems, healing ancestral lineage and the Akashic records.I work on animals as well, most often dogs, cats and horses. I also lead group healing circles where I speak on a specific topic and guide a group healing. These sessions occur approximately once a month where we connect as a community, return to oneness and heal as a collective.
